Kicktone is a new online music service aimed at bands and fans alike. Recently launched and still currently in beta mode, Kicktone gives you the ability to create band profile pages, where you can upload, stream and sell music tracks.
Currently the services is completely free to use during their beta period. When a fan buys a bands album, 100% of the sale goes directly to their PayPal account without passing through Kicktone at all. In the future they’ll be charging 15% of each sale to cover the cost of hosting and distributing of music.
Kicktone makes it easy for bands to sell and distribute their music to fans, and helps them engage with a new audience of fans that share music with their friends.
