Recently we were invited to use Refind, a new online tool for business which allows people and publishers to save and share information from the web to their own digital magazine. Whilst Refind is not the first of it’s kind in information sharing (think twitter and facebook), it does give users the ability to create a readable index of interesting articles and stories that appeal to them and perhaps others.
Refind allows you to build a list of interest ‘tags’ that appeal to you and in turn deliver posts which have been tagged as such. In other words, a Refind user shares and tags a link to a blog post on Website Design to their profile and if ‘website design’ is one of your interests then it will be discoverable on the site.
There are already many of the big players already signed up as publishers, including Mashable, Tech Crunch, Hootsuite, Wired and The Onion sharing popular stories from their site to their own digital media service reading list. Following these publishers will build your dashboard of links which you can read, save or share to your own reading list.
At the culmination of each week, you can send a newsletter that will produce an automatic digest of the best links you tweeted or saved to Refind that week and be sent via email to your subscribers.
I can definitely see using Refind as a plus for any SEO campaign, as a way to share your own blog and article posts to a much wider audience whist gaining all important backlinks and site traffic.
Now for the kicker…Refind is giving away 1 billion coins to early users for free and which they will buy back later with our profits. For every friend you invite, you and your friend will get 20 coins.
Join Refind here and kick start your account with 20 free coins.
